I’m known as the Mac Guy at my work and to my friends. People that I talk to often ask me , “How the hell do you know so much?” I got to thinking, and it’s all pretty much by staying on top of the top Mac sites. Here’s my top list of Mac websites that give me my fix every single day. Let me know what you use in the comments!
The News Sites:

Macworld
Up to the date info on what’s going on in the mac world. A bit heavy on press releases, but their acquisition of macosxhints.com and Rob Griffiths was a major coup for them.

Macnn
A good second source of news.
The Help Sites:

Macfixit: Daily heapings of troubleshooting help for your Mac. You have to pay to read the archives, though.

Macintouch: Yeah, so it’s not strictly help, as they have a lot of news and discussion as well. Some really great discussions in here.

Macosxhints.com: Killer, killer hints every single day on how to use OS X better.
The Rumor Sites:

MacRumors: Awesome rumor site. They aggregate data from other rumors sites as well. Kickass live event coverage also.

AppleInsider: Not always right, but always interesting.

Think Secret: They’ve had some major things right…. and then some not so right. But c’mon, they are rumors!
The Blogs:

The Unofficial Apple Weblog: Updated throughout the day with news/commentary, etc.

Cult of Mac: Out there stories from the fringe of Macdom

Daring Fireball: Extremely insightful essays on Apple, along with daily links of interesting news…
